Terms of Sale
​
Due to changes in market conditions, manufacturers’ increased costs associated with sourcing materials and increased freight costs for manufacturing material and product transportation, as well as changes in import regulations, duty and associated brokerage fees, Kevalin Audio has adjusted its terms of sale to provide the most competitive pricing and quickest delivery times. These terms of sale are part of the purchase contract and a purchaser is deemed to have accepted and agreed to them.

Kevalin Audio can sell:

Allnic products only to residents of the USA and its protectorates, USA military bases globally, and regions of the world without Allnic representation.

Waversa Systems products solely within North America. Outside of special consideration sanctioned by Waversa Systems Corporation, Waversa products are sold at Waversa’s established retail pricing and all products are shipped from their US or Canadian dealers.

For USA markets, each individual product unit is assigned the actual tariff cost at the time of customs clearance or estimated at the time of order. Tariff fees seem to vary in real-time and are a form of consumer taxation. This policy avoids unnecessary MRSP increases or reductions of individual discounts. This additional fee will appear as a separate line item on the bill of sale, providing complete transparency prior to payment.

For products sold by Kevalin Audio into countries other than the USA (not possible for Waversa Systems products), all associated brokerage, duty, taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please note, for exports to Europe - VAT is now assessed to the shipper and will be added to the bill of sale.

To help mitigate increased costs of transportation, products may be drop-shipped from
the factory or from other locations outside the United States. While we do our best to
streamline the import process, paperwork may be misplaced during transportation and a
delay in customs clearance may happen. If there is a customs clearance delay, please
call Kevalin Audio immediately. A simple phone call from Kevalin Audio often clears the
item within 6-24 hours.

Through direct consultation and awareness of potentially applicable unique
opportunities, we can advise you on the most effective solution for your budget and
preferred schedule. Please note, however, that Kevalin Audio is not Amazon: acquisition
is almost never immediate. We believe in a smart investment for long term enjoyment.

Quality trade-ins are welcomed and encouraged for all products Kevalin Audio offers.
Kevalin Audio must receive a trade-in item prior to shipment of the purchased product.
Trade-in items are inspected and expected to be in excellent condition and perform to
specifications. If a trade-in item does not meet these standards, Kevalin Audio reserves
the right to cancel the transaction.

Payment terms:
Kevalin Audio accepts payment via bank wire, cheque, WISE and Zelle. We no longer accept PayPal or Credit Card purchases. Please see our dealer network for an alternative sales agreement and possible credit card transactions.

Warranty:
All new, demo and review products carry a full factory warranty. Allnic products have a
2 (two) year factory warranty. Allnic factory supplied tubes have a 6 (six) month
warranty from the date of purchase. Waversa products have a 1 (one) year factory
warranty. Products are covered by manufacturer's warranty only. Kevalin Audio does not
itself warranty any product it sells.

Trade-in items are covered by remaining manufacturer's warranty only and only if it is
transferable. Any manufacturer required product registration is the purchaser’s
responsibility.

Products sold by Kevalin Audio are sophisticated electronic devices and it is the
purchaser’s obligation to have read and understood the purchased product’s manual
prior to installing and powering on the product. Please contact Kevalin Audio if any part
of the product manual is unclear. Kevalin Audio is not liable for any damage or loss of
any kind, including consequential damage or loss, resulting from the use of products
purchased from Kevalin Audio.

Minor irregularities of the chassis finish of any product sold by Kevalin Audio may be
present on a new item, are an inherent characteristic of aluminum and coatings used,
and do not in any way affect product operation or performance. Minor cosmetic
irregularities are not protected by warranty unless expressly stated by the manufacturer.
All purchasers regardless of product and purchase method
are required to report any visible damage to product upon
receipt or product malfunction at first use to Kevalin Audio
immediately. Failure to do so may result in reduction of any
applicable refund amount.

Returns and refunds:
All sales are FINAL. No returns are accepted and no refunds are given, including but not restricted to international sales, custom orders, trade-in, demo, discontinued, “on sale” or otherwise discounted products, and phono cartridges. No order cancellations are accepted after product has been shipped OR the manufacturer has provided notice of acceptance of a custom order.

Warranty Agreements are between the consumer and the manufacturer only. Kevalin Audio, as a "dealer or distributor," does not assume any liability, as noted in the manufacturer's product manuals.

The EXT and Activator series by Waversa Systems purchased through the www.kevalinaudio.com site or through direct communications with Kevalin Audio have a 30-day trial and may be returned for a full refund with no restocking fee but less 8% of purchase price if refund is to a credit card (4% plus 4% per the payment terms above) so long as the product is in as new condition in original packaging. Kevalin Audio must be notified by email, including the original receipt, before shipping. Purchaser assumes return shipping cost and will ship insured. Refund will be made only upon Kevalin Audio’s receipt, inspection and final approval for refund of the returned product which must be in as new condition in original packaging.

Items damaged in transit to customer may be replaced in whole or in part depending on the nature of the damage upon return of the damaged product or part(s) to Kevalin Audio. Return of damaged product is to be arranged by customer, with Kevalin Audio’s signature required on delivery. Loss of or new damage to the return shipped product will be the complete responsibility of customer. Any arrangement for recovery for loss or new damage incurred during shipping is between customer and shipping company, and no replacement or refund for lost or newly damaged returning product will be issued by Kevalin Audio. Upon receipt and if satisfied by inspection of returned product or part(s), Kevalin Audio will reimburse customer for return shipping costs, but no refund will be given. Kevalin Audio will pay costs for shipping of replacement product or part(s), as the case may be.
